Make sure you spell the Kindergarten sight words correctly, and remember to stretch out the sounds in words. Reading: Choose a book from home, on Raz Kids, or on Epic Books. Remember there are 3 ways to read a book. Read the book all 3 ways. Practice the sight word of. Listen to the Jack Hartman song. Then say the letters in the word. Print the word in the air. Print the word on someone's back. Make the word with clay or play-doh
Math problem of the day: Draw 10 eggs on a piece of paper. Choose 2 colors and color the eggs in an AB pattern. Tuesday, April 7, 2020Literacy- Read the same book that you read yesterday. Show a family member the title of the book. Point to a word. Point to a letter. Point to a sentence.
Read the Easter poem with a family member. Find the words that rhyme. Name 5 other words that rhyme with hop. Get a family member to read a story to you. Talk about your favourite part of the story. Math: Today is April 7th. Print the number 7 on a piece of paper. Find a group of 7 objects.Show 7 in a 10 frame. Draw tally marks for 7. Draw a number line to show 7. Count to 7 and count backwards from 7. What number is one more than 7? What number is one less than 7? Question of the day: There were 7 Easter eggs. Some were red and some were blue. Draw and color the eggs. How many were red? How many were blue? Practice belly breathing/ bubble breathing (with a straw and glass of water) / rainbow breathing.
